The state of the sisterhood is Gamma Eta Sorority’s national address to the sisterhood, often presented by the president. The purpose is to provide a comprehensive update about projects the National Executive Council is pursuing and what has been accomplished thus far. The goal of the address is for the sisterhood to recognize opportunities of involvement, understand the state of undergraduate chapters, recognize the sisterhood’s strengths and be made aware of areas of improvement. There is no uniformity in how the address is given. The address is a collaborative effort from the NEC.
