Raising Awareness About Breast Cancer
Gamma Eta Sorority, Inc.’s primary philanthropic focus since it’s incorporation in 1995 has been breast cancer awareness and fundraising money for those impacted by the disease.
Since 2011, we have partnered with the National Breast Cancer Foundation to provide help and hope to women affected by breast cancer via our “When the Sun Shines Pink” campaign. This campaign was created as a continuing effort to unite our sisterhood in service.
Alongside the National Breast Cancer Foundation, our sorority via our campaign aims to make treatment more accessible and resources more visible especially for womxn from under-resourced communities.
We encourage and challenge you to bring Breast Cancer Awareness to your community and help raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

When the Sun Shines Pink store is officially open
What better way to spread awareness than to wear it?
We are celebrating our new When the Sun Shines Pink 10th anniversary logo and fundraising to help individuals who are impacted by breast cancer with our new online merchandise store.
All of the proceeds will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation via our Gamma Eta Sorority, Inc. fundraising page.
We have tote bags that are great for grocery shopping or quick trips, and mugs that help make that perfect cup of morning coffee or tea. Also, choose from a few apparel options including tanks, shirts, v-necks, crewnecks, and hoodies that come in different styles.
Shipping is quick, as orders go out every six days as outlined by our site which powered by Bonfire.
We’ll cut off orders November 1 and tally how much our sisterhood raised to forward research and resources to help other women beat breast cancer.
